  • Celebrate LAND Project is an organization whose mission is to inspire an awe of nature and agriculture in young learners! To learn more about our mission, click here

The gist: accomplish three or more activities from a concept area such as Trees Are Terrific (more concept areas coming soon) and earn a collectible prize!

    Ways to get involved:

    A. Order a packet directly from our website.

    B. Look for a local sponsor*

CLP sponsors are small businesses/organizations who support our mission by offering packets to their local communities at no charge. Please visit the FAQ section on finding a sponsor to learn more.

    C. Enroll in a local program that utilizes CLP material*

We aim to partner with local camps, schools, and youth programs to offer a facilitated CLP experience. Please visit the FAQ section on finding a facilitator to learn more.

*Please note that both of these options are limited by local availability.

  • No, you do not have to order a packet for each child! Each packet will be stamped with a participant code that can be used up to four times when submitting work. Please make only ONE submission per child.

For further questions, please email celebratelandproject@gmail.com.

  • The costs associated with researching and writing activities, printing, packaging, shipping, and manufacturing prizes are what drive the price of our packets.

Each CLP packet contains a book list and five exciting activities that invite children to celebrate their environment. Children have the opportunity to earn collectible prizes that are unique to each concept area (at no additional charge).

While Celebrate LAND Project is not yet registered as a 501(c)(3) organization, we apply almost all of our profits toward the creation of new activities, and to the celebration of land within our community.

Our mission is to help everyone celebrate land, irrespective of location or means. Should cost impede your participation, please visit the FAQ section on finding a sponsor* or contact us directly at celebratelandproject@gmail.com

*Sponsored participation is limited by local availability.

  • CLP packets can only be purchased online through our website at this time. However, we are currently working on building a network of local sponsors and facilitators.

  • Congratulations and thank you! Your packet will arrive by mail to the address you provided. Yes, by snail mail! Scout Proft, founder of Celebrate LAND Project, is a firm believer in the magic of mail!

You will receive a packet containing five activities. All activities begin with an open-ended question to get your child(ren) thinking, followed by a series of directions and prompts. Most activities include a task and a tangible craft. We try to limit the use of obscure materials that participants may not have on-hand.

At the end of each activity there is room to "Make a Guess" about an interesting question or problem.

Please submit at least one photograph of each completed activity. We encourage participants to complete all five activities, but only three are required to earn a prize. We recommend submitting photographs of the completed crafts. Photographs of the “Make a Guess” pages are welcome as additional evidence.

Instructions for submitting work are provided as part of each packet. If we can be of further assistance, please email us at celebratelandproject@gmail.com.

Volunteer high school students and senior citizens will review each submission. The last step is to watch the mail for a well-deserved prize!
