Ditch the screens and roll up your sleeves! Celebrate LAND Project creates outdoor adventure packets for children in grades K-5. CLP activities are designed to get kids off screens and into nature! Each easy-to-use packet includes 5 engaging, screen-free nature activities that encourage curiosity, creativity, and exploration— right from your backyard or local trails.

What is celebrate Land Project?

Celebrate LAND Project is a Southern Vermont-based program that works to inspire an awe of nature and agriculture in young learners.

Through hands-on outdoor activities, age-appropriate book recommendations, and open-ended questions, children ages 6–10 develop a deep sense of curiosity and wonder about the world around them.

Each outdoor activity packet is designed to grow with children over time— offering screen-free, beginner-friendly adventures that create lasting memories and nurture a lifelong connection to the land.

  • Order a Celebrate LAND activity packet* online or celebrate LAND with local facilitators such as summer camps or library programs (where available). Complete 3-5 activities!

    *Number of participants allowed per packet varies according to purchase.

  • Submit photographs of 3-5 completed activities to the CLP website. Volunteer high school students and senior citizens will review each submission and respond directly to our young adventurers!

  • Children will receive a collectible CLP badge* via mail— a tangible reward for their curiosity, effort, and connection to the natural world. CLP badges are unique to each content area (packet).
